Clarinetist Romie de Guise-Langlois will be the featured soloist with the Burlington Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Guest Conductor Sean Newhouse — a Vermont native and the Assistant Conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The program will feature Gerald Finzi’s Clarinet Concerto, Corelli’s Concerto Grosso in F Major, and Janaçek’s Idyll for String Orchestra. First brought here by Soovin Kim to play with his Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival, Ms. de Guise-Langlois has become an area favorite for her fierce and formidable style.

Soovin Kim joins the orchestra for the third consecutive year as we continue our collaborative work together in an intimate, conductor-less setting. This year, he and violist Mary SangHyun Yong will perform Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola. The program also includes Strauss's Sextet from Capriccio, two works by Grieg - Badnlat (At the Cradle) and Kulokk & Stabbelaten (Cow Call & Peasant Dance), and a string orchestra arrangement of Sibelius' Valse Triste that Soovin has created just for this occasion.

Closing the season on Saturday, May 18th at 8 pm, the BCO will be led by Guest Conductor
Ronald Feldman as we premiere a new work by a young Vermont composer Noah Marconi. The concert also includes a performance of J.S. Bach's Concerto in F by pianist David Horak, the 2013 winner of our annual Young Artist Competition, Benjamin Britten’s delightful Simple Symphony and Haydn's Symphony #74.

General Ticket Information
All tickets are general admission. 2012-13 Single ticket prices are: $25 Adults, $10 Students - with the exception of the October 6, 2012 concert which is a Lane Series Presentation. Advance Tickets available now through the Flynn Regional Box Office (additional fees may apply). Tickets may also be purchased at the door of the venue on the date of the concert.

Venues and Directions
With the exception of the October 6 Concert at UVM's Recital Hall, our primary venue is the McCarthy Arts Center Recital Hall on the Campus of Saint Michael’s College. Click here for directions and parking information.

Purchasing Tickets at the Door
On the day of the performance, tickets will be available at the door, starting at 7 PM. Ticket sales at the door are CASH or CHECK only. Tickets and seating are first come, first serve. Special offer: Buy one Adult ticket get one Student ticket free. Offer good at the door on the day of the show.

Season Subscriptions Available
Save 20% by purchasing a subscription to all three of our 2012-2013 Season Concerts: January 12, March 23 or 24, and May 18. $60 for adults or $25 for students.
